The Divitae AI Readiness Framework is built on primary research conducted in partnership with a leading UK research university, funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). The research examined AI adoption barriers across UK organisations, with a particular focus on SMEs and the mid-market — the segment most underserved by existing AI advisory and the most likely to stall at the pilot stage without structured intervention. Combined with direct consulting experience across transformation programmes in financial services, healthcare, and the public sector, the framework reflects how AI readiness actually behaves in practice — not how it is theorised in vendor literature.
